November has been a productive and inspiring month for Zomee, as our team had the opportunity to connect with both DME partners and lactation professionals at two key industry events: the Texas Medical Equipment Providers (TexMEP) annual conference in Austin, TX and the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) annual conference in Tampa, FL.

Both events provided meaningful opportunities to strengthen existing relationships, introduce new product innovations, and gather valuable feedback from the professionals who make our shared mission possible: improving access to high-quality breastfeeding solutions.

TexMEP 2025: Connecting with DME Partners

On November 4, our Founder and CEO Dina Shanowitz, along with members of our team, represented Zomee at the TexMEP annual conference - a regional gathering dedicated to supporting DME providers. Durable Medical Equipment (DME) companies play a vital role in helping moms access breast pumps and supplies through their insurance. They handle verification, documentation, and fulfillment, allowing moms to focus on their families instead of the paperwork.

TexMEP provided an opportunity to connect with DME supplier industry professionals. It was a great event to share Zomee’s mission to empower and uplift mothers through innovative breast pump products and supportive services.

Positioned in the exhibit showroom, Zomee’s booth offered DME attendees a hands-on experience with our innovative breast pumps and accessories. Visitors had the opportunity to explore our full product lineup through live demos and engage directly with our knowledgeable team for personalized guidance. Informational materials provided additional product insights, while fun takeaway items and our new Zomee Prize Wheel added a fun touch that kept energy high and conversations flowing throughout the event.
Zomee is proud to provide DME partners with customizable  pre-packaged product bundles, dedicated one-to-one sales support, comprehensive training and marketing resources, and elevated support for their customers through our signature Mom Line - a team of moms themselves who provide compassionate, firsthand guidance to breastfeeding mothers. Together, these tailored resources empower our partners to deliver exceptional service and streamline every step from inquiry to delivery.

ILCA 2025: Engaging and Educating the Lactation Consultant Community

Just days after TexMEP, Zomee headed to Tampa for the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) annual conference, joining a few hundred lactation professionals dedicated to supporting breastfeeding families worldwide. For some attendees, this was their first time getting hands-on with Zomee’s products, while many others were already familiar with the brand and eager to learn more from our in-service training expert, Sharon Tracey, who provided live product demos and education throughout the weekend.

The response was fantastic. Lactation consultants praised Zomee’s thoughtful design, innovation, and commitment to moms’ needs, noting how every detail reflects our mom-first mission.

When asked what makes Zomee different, our team proudly shared what sets us apart. Zomee’s hospital-grade, FDA-approved pumps meet the highest professional standards, delivering trusted performance moms and lactation professionals rely on. The Zomee Fit Wearable Hands-Free Breast Pump stands out with the strongest suction in its class at 280 mmHg, full insurance coverage, and our exclusive Nipple Correction Mode designed to help moms with flat or inverted nipples pump comfortably and effectively.

We also showcased our industry-leading two-year pump motor warranty, inclusive flange sizing, and thoughtful extras like replacement duckbill valves and diaphragms, all created to set moms up for success. Through our Perfect Fit Promise™, Zomee ensures every mom finds her ideal flange size by offering a complimentary pair of flanges if a smaller or larger size is needed. And with our Mom Line™, Zomee continues to empower and support every step of the breastfeeding journey with technical assistance or pumping tips from our in-house team of real moms and LCs.

Zomee is proud of our commitment to WHO Code compliance, a standard we uphold across all marketing materials. In the words of our CMO Shannon Hendrickson, “It was amazing to hear the appreciation from ILCA board, with whom we share the passion for helping moms to breastfeed.”

Beyond education, our booth stood out for its clean, modern branding, and engaging resources. The Zomee Warming and Cooling Lactation Massager drew especially strong interest, with attendees excited about its potential to support new cooling protocols for engorgement and mastitis. Many took home educational sales sheets to share with their clinics.

From in-depth conversations to spontaneous “aha” learning moments, ILCA served as a reminder of how hands-on experiences can transform curiosity into connection.

Looking Ahead

From Austin to Tampa, these back-to-back events reinforced the value of direct collaboration with healthcare professionals and DME partners.

As Zomee continues to expand its reach within both the DME and lactation consultant communities, its focus remains clear: to deliver the innovation, reliability, and partnership support that empower providers and parents alike.
