FAQs

What is Shabbat Mode™, and how does it work with the 2-in-1 Bra for hands-free pumping?

The Z2 Shabbat Mode™ Edition is designed to help mothers balance religious observance with their breastfeeding needs. Shabbat Mode™ allows the pump to operate automatically according to pre-set intervals and durations, without manual intervention during Shabbos. When using during Shabbos, the Z2 Pumping Kit and 2-in-1 Pumping Bra must be put on before the scheduled pumping session begins and must remain in place until the pumping session has ended and the pump has turned off. The Z2 Shabbat Mode™ Edition is certified by Star-K for use according to applicable guidelines.

What sizes does the 2-in-1 Bra come in, and how do I choose the right size?

The 2-in-1 Bra is available in S, M, L, XL, and 2XL. Use the size chart below to find the best fit based on your measurements. For optimal comfort and pumping performance, the bra should provide secure, supportive compression without feeling overly tight.

Do I need to secure the flanges in the bra before Shabbat starts?

Yes. The pumping kit and 2-in-1 Bra must be put on before the scheduled pumping session begins and cannot be removed until pumping has ended, and the pump has turned off. Be sure everything is properly positioned and secured before the scheduled start time.

Can the pump and bra be used on days outside of Shabbat?

Yes! Both the Z2 Breast Pump and 2-in-1 Bra can be used on non-Shabbat days. When Shabbat Mode™ is turned off, you can use the pump's regular settings and modes as you normally would.

What’s the difference between this bundle and the Shabbat Mode™ Edition with Hands-Free Collection Cups?

Both bundles include the Z2 Shabbat Mode™ Edition and the Z2 Double Pumping Kit. The main difference is the hands-free pumping option: the Z2 Shabbat Mode™ Edition with 2-in-1 Bra includes the 2-in-1 Bra and is designed for moms who want to use the Z2 Double Pumping Kit, while the Z2 Shabbat Mode™ Edition & Hands-Free Collection Cups includes the Hands-Free Collection Cups in addition to the Z2 Pumping Kit, giving moms the option to pump with either the Pumping Kit or the Hands-Free Collection Cups with a compatible bra.
