FAQs

Can I use the included collection cups on Shabbat with Shabbat Mode™, or only with regular pumping modes?

The Hands-Free Collection Cups can be used whenever you pump, including during Shabbat when the Z2 is operating in Shabbat Mode™. They provide a convenient, hands-free pumping option for observant mothers.

How long does the cooler bag keep milk cold while traveling?

Freshly expressed breast milk can be stored safely in an insulated cooler bag with frozen ice packs for up to 24 hours, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Be sure to keep the ice packs fully frozen and the cooler closed as much as possible.

What's the difference between this bundle and the Z2 Complete Travel Bundle Pack (the non-Shabbat version)?

The Z2 Shabbat Mode™ Edition Bundle includes the same convenient travel essentials as the standard Z2 Complete Travel Bundle, plus Shabbat Mode™ functionality and Hands-Free Collection Cups designed to support pumping during Shabbat.

Can I bring this Shabbat Mode™ Travel Bundle on a plane, and does it comply with TSA guidelines for breast pumps?

Yes. Breast pumps, accessories, and expressed breast milk are generally permitted in carry-on baggage under federal travel protections. However, individual airline policies can vary, so we recommend checking with your airline before traveling. If you are traveling across time zones, remember that the Shabbat Mode™ timer must be set before Shabbat begins, so please plan accordingly.
